The Association for Women in Science (AWIS) is the largest multi-discipline organization for women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) dedicated to achieving equity and full participation of women in all disciplines and across all employment sectors. AWIS reaches more than 15,000 professionals in STEM with members and chapters nationwide. Membership is open to any individual who supports the vision and mission of AWIS.Arizona State University is an AWIS Institutional Partner which enables undergraduate or graduate students to register FREE as a collegiate member while receiving benefits from the National organization. Postdocs, Faculty, Staff and other STEM professionals who wish to join at the Chapter level must also be National members which will entitle you to all of the benefits listed below. Current membership fees can be found on the AWIS website or you can contact member services at firstname.lastname@example.org or call at (703) 894-4494.
To become a member, please fill out the Online AWIS Membership Application through the AWIS National website. Click on the membership tab. You can then select a chapter to be affiliated with. Our chapter is listed as the Central Arizona and is under the Central Western region. If you are already a member and need to update your contact information, go to the AWIS National member services page. You will need your member ID and your password.
